Chelsea Meissner, who competed in the 24th season of “Survivor” (there shouldn’t be a 24th season of anything, least of all that) and guest-starred on “Southern Charm” last year, will officially join Shep Rose as the second former Hilton Head Island resident to star on Bravo’s favorite Charleston-based reality show.

Meissner was here with the cast in November, when “Southern Charm” filmed on Hilton Head (where she lived until she was in fifth grade, when her family moved to Florence, according to an interview she did with CH2 magazine in 2012).

Last season she was in a lame love triangle with Rose and Austen Kroll, who is living proof that sprinkling glitter on your Ken Doll and whispering “Come to life for real” seven times in a row works.

Meissner will replace Landon Clements, the ruddy villainess who quit-slash-got-fired-whatever after last season (and then popped up on “RelationShep” to ruin Shep’s date and viewers’ evening because obviously).

However, Chelsea Meissner, who is a calm and rational person, probably won’t be as fun for those “Southern Charm” fans who have become accustomed to Tweeting dolphin emojis every time Landon Clements was on-screen — in honor Kathryn Dennis’ very accurate assessment of Clements’ marine-squawk of a voice.

But never fear.

Meissner is “The Mythical Cool Girl,” meaning she’s a woman who hunts, surfs, drinks whatever the guys are drinking, is always up for whatever and in a good mood, wears pretty dresses and has perfect beach waves in her hair while talking in a soft Southern accent, all “Don’t judge me for eating peanut butter out of the jar, y’all,” so I’m sure she’ll get on viewers’ nerves at some point.

Although, she did get sassy with Shep last season and tell him what’s what about aggro-kissing her (or anyone else) in alleys, so maybe she’s reality show heroine material. We’ll see.

The show, which filmed its fifth season this past fall, will air sometime in late March or early April, based on its previous schedules.
