The Cracked Egg is now serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week in the former Joe Loves Lobster Rolls location on S.C. 170.

The local chain opened its first location in Port Royal in April and plans to open a third next year in Beaufort.

Breakfast options on the menu range from a “build your own sandwich” at $5 to the “Cracked Egg Breakfast,” which includes three eggs, two meats, grits, toast, hashbrowns and two homemade pancakes for $12.99.

Joe Loves Lobster Rolls closed at the location last month, not long after the owner significantly cut the restaurant’s hours citing lack of workforce for the reason.

The restaurant’s owner, Tony Herndon, said a lack of “work ethic” was the reason for the shortage.

Herndon announced via Facebook on Tuesday that he had opened his restaurant at a new location on Pawleys Island, near Myrtle Beach.

Cracked Egg’s owner Zack Manley said he has not had a problem staffing the location.

The restaurant is at 2915 Okatie Highway. It is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. For more information, call 843-645-2349.
