RBC Heritage, the storied PGA Tour golf tournament that brings professional golfers and thousands of spectators to the Lowcountry every year, officially kicks off Tuesday with its opening ceremony.
Now in its 58th year, the tournament in Hilton Head’s Sea Pines community will begin Tuesday with a parade and ceremonial cannon firing. Wednesday is the Pro-Am, when amateurs and professionals get to have some fun, and the pros will tee off starting on Thursday.
This is the first year of Heritage since the reopening of Harbour Town Golf Links, the Pete Dye-designed course that’s been home to the tournament since it started in 1969.
Reigning champion Justin Thomas is set to return and march in the opening ceremony parade, other past winners participating are 2024 champion Scottie Scheffler, 2023 winner Matt Fitzpatrick and 2022 champion Jordan Spieth. Rory McIlroy, who won the Masters in 2025 and on Sunday, will not participate.

Tickets for each day of the tournament were available via Ticketmaster as of 5 p.m. Monday.
