Bluffton pro golfer to play Hilton Head in 2026. Here’s how he did at the Masters

Bluffton-based pro golfer Brian Campbell will play Hilton Head Island’s biggest golf tournament for the second time, days after tieing for 24th place at the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club.

Last year, the 33-year-old Campbell made his debut at RBC Heritage and tied for 32nd. He will return to Harbour Town this week in search of the trophy and the Heritage’s signature plaid jacket.

Campbell will join past champions Scottie Scheffler, Matt Fitzpatrick, Jordan Spieth and defending champion Justin Thomas this week at Hilton Head’s signature golf event.

Last week at the Masters, Campbell tied for 24th place next to former-Masters champion Adam Scott, 2025 Scottish Open champion Chris Gotterup and 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Matt McCarty. He played four rounds, finishing two under par, collecting 13 birdies and 11 bogeys.

In his Masters debut last year, Campbell finished tied for 32nd place, with a final-round 68. Just two months prior, he won his first PGA Tour championship, the 2025 Mexico Open. He then won the John Deere Classic in Illinois in July.

The Newport Beach, California native turned Bluffton local plays out of the Colleton River Club.
