If I’m under a mandatory evacuation order, can I leave Sunday?
Yes.
But once you’ve left one of the five Beaufort County islands under a mandatory evacuation order from South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster — Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, Fripp Island, Harbor Island and Hunting Island — you cannot return to that island until the evacuation order has been listed.
