You might run into this Food Network star at the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival
Food Network star Maneet Chauhan was exploring Hilton Head Island on Thursday while she’s in town for the 11th annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival.
The author, TV personality, celebrity chef and restaurateur based out of New York City and Nashville is known for her role as a judge on the network’s show “Chopped” and her restaurant Chauhan Ale and Masala House in Nashville. She was also included in the Nation's Restaurant News Power List for 2018 in January.
Chauhan spent Thursday afternoon getting to see Hilton Head and “finding some time to sneak away and explore this beautiful town.” She posted a photo of herself at the Harbour Town Marina pier on her Instagram page.
A couple hours later, she was enjoying the beach and admiring some driftwood near Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.
Thursday night Chauhan will be at Hilton Head Island's first ever Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner at the resort.
“The dinner will feature six courses from celebrity and James Beard Foundation, award-winning and nominated chefs – which will each be paired with wines from winemakers and sommeliers from around the world,” according to the festival’s Instagram page. Chauhan will be headlining the event.
The festival runs through Sunday, with the main festival portion from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Historic Honey Horn Plantation.
