Marvel movie shot in Savannah out this summer. Here's your first look
The first trailer for “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is out, just a few months after a portion of the filming for the movie wrapped up in Savannah.
A call for extras in the movie came out in October 2017 from Central Casting Georgia. The extras were called to portray Argentinian locals in the 1980s.
The movie is set to come out on July 6, not long after Marvel’s other eagerly awaited movies, “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
According to comicbook.com the “Ant-Man and the Wasp” story takes place between “Captain America: Civil War” and “Avengers: Infinity War” — in the same time frame as “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Black Panther” — but will be released after the new Avengers movie.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp” stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Pfeiffer, according to imdb.com. The story shows Ant-Man figuring out how to balance his home life with his superhero responsibilities, according to the website.
