Hazing allegations at Parris Island reported in all training battalions

Two dozen new hazing investigations show recruit abuse and mistreatment has been reported in each of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island’s four training battalions. Some of those documents, obtained through Freedom of Information Act requests, show allegations of drill instructor-to-recruit misconduct ranging from name-calling to serious physical assaults. One found “a staggering level of misconduct and recruit abuse” and recommended three Marines for courts-martial.
