Beaufort County Detention Center: Preliminary hearings that are scheduled for every Friday will be delayed. Visitation for people who are incarcerated has been canceled, but FaceTime options are available.

Hilton Head Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee: Meeting scheduled for Thursday has been postponed

Sports and fitness

Beaufort County Parks & Recreation: All facilities closed Thursday and Friday. Makeup athletic schedules are available at https://www.bcscrec.com/all-current-game-schedules. Parents should anticipate hearing from volunteer coaches by Friday concerning the status of games scheduled for Saturday.

Island Rec Center: Pool will close at 2 p.m. Thursday and reopen on Sunday; Rec Center building will close at 6 p.m. Thursday and reopen Saturday; all field athletic programs are canceled Thursday through Saturday

Wardle Family YMCA in Port Royal: Will close early at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and remain closed Friday, reopening Saturday.

Utilities

Beaufort County Convenience Centers: Closed Thursday and Friday.

Capital Waste Services says it will do normal garbage pickup in Beaufort Thursday but is not sure about Friday.

Hilton Head Public Service District offices: Closed Thursday and Friday

Lowcountry Regional Water System: Closing noon Thursday and all day Friday
