A slithering creature was discovered at an In-N-Out drive-thru by a worker, a California shelter said.

The worker made the “surprising discovery” of a “beautiful python” at an In-N-Out restaurant in Monrovia, according to a Sept. 30 Facebook post by the Pasadena Humane Society.

The snake was brought to the humane society. The shelter said it doesn’t yet know whether it’s male or female.

The snake, which looked like it was in good shape and “well taken care of,” is likely someone’s pet, so the shelter asks the public to “spread the word,” the post read.

Instagram users shared their takes on the snake that “just wanted a burger” with one person saying, “So gorgeous. Wanted a double double” in the comments on the humane society’s post.

“Ssssir this is an in-and-out drive through…,” another wrote.

“He just wanted a milksssssshake,” someone said.

Anyone who believes this is their snake is asked to call 626-792-7151, the shelter said.

Monrovia is about a 20-mile drive northeast from downtown Los Angeles.
