6-foot boa constrictor slithers down street and gets nabbed by CA cops. See the photo

A 6-foot boa constrictor was caught after it was seen slithering down a suburban road in California, police said.

A 6-foot boa constrictor was gliding down a suburban street in California before police were called and captured it,.

Livermore police were called to the 1100 block of Big Basin Road on reports of a snake moving down the street, police said on Facebook.

“Multiple people called stating residents were scared,” the post said.

The snake had escaped from its home and police soon realized the snake belonged to someone in the neighborhood.

Once caught by police, the 6-foot boa was returned to its owner.

Livemore is about 30 miles north of San Jose.
