Bluffton's Lang wins third consecutive Late Model Series race
Bluffton resident Jimmy Lang returned to one of his favorite tracks Saturday -- the Watermelon Captial Speedway -- and won his third consecutive ASA Late Model Series Southern Divison race. The 19-year-old took the lead from pole-sitter Justin Larson on lap 17 to win the Watermelon Bowl 100 in Cordele, Ga., according to the Web site asalatemodels.com. The victory came in familiar fashion -- as in the previous two wins, Lang started sixth, on the outside third row. (full story)
