Update: Is there a curfew for Monday?

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office announced modified curfew information early Monday evening.

For Hilton Head, Harbor, Hunting and Fripp islands, a curfew is in effect from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. No other areas under Sheriff's Office jurisdiction are under curfew.

In the announcement, the Sheriff's Office clarifed for people inquiring about re-entry passes that its Emergency Management department issues re-entry passes well in advance of hurricane events to those critical to early recovery. Business passes issued by South Carolina Emergency Management validate the business as a vetted and legitimate, and are not for re-entry.
