What happened to the 100 people who wouldn’t evacuate Daufuskie Island?
All 100 people are safe and accounted for, according to South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in a Sunday morning press conference.
Before Hurricane Matthew struck, Haley had warned them that if they didn’t leave, they would be under water.
