Update: SC primary polls have closed
In low turnout voting, incumbent 14th Circuit Solicitor Duffie Stone appeared to be heading toward a sound victory in the Republican primary over challenger Angela McCall-Tanner.
He was ahead by 69 percent in Beaufort County with a majority of precincts counted:
With 91 of 92 Beaufort Co. precincts reporting, it looks like Stone has it with 69 percent of the votes to McCall-Tanner's 31 percent.
