Due to Hurricane Matthew, the Beaufort County Board of Elections offices will be closed in the days leading to Saturday’s deadline to register to vote.
But voters can still register online and by mail.
Voters can register by midnight Saturday at www.scvotes.org or using the My scVOTES mobile application available in the Apple and Google Play stores, according to a elections board news release.
A printable registration form is available for download at the above website.
It can be completed and mailed to the Beaufort County Board of Elections, P.O. Drawer 1228, Beaufort, SC 29901, faxed to 843-524-0617, or emailed to voter@bcgov.net.
