Okatie teen reported missing found in Jasper County
An Okatie 15-year-old who went missing from her home Friday evening was found in Ridgeland on Monday morning, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Lillian Young was reported as a runaway after she returned home from May River High School on Friday afternoon and got into an argument with her parents, according to her father, William Young. Around 6 p.m., that day, she left their house.
Capt. Bob Bromage of the Sheriff’s Office said Monday morning that Young was found just after 10 a.m. at a residence in Ridgeland by the Ridgeland Police Department.
He could not provide details on exactly where Young was found, but did say that she is in good health.
No charges had been filed in connection to her disappearance as of 2:30 p.m. Monday, Bromage said.
