Beaufort shooting kills 25-year-old man

The Beaufort Police Department is investigating the shooing death of a 25-year-old man Friday night, according to a news release.

Officers responded about 7:50 p.m. to reports of a shooting in a vehicle at the intersection of Church and Duke streets, the release said. There they found an unresponsive male in the driver’s seat with an apparent gunshot wound.
