Bluffton structure fire causes ‘substantial’ damage to house
A structure fire damaged a house on Goethe Road on Thursday afternoon and prompted the Bluffton Township Fire District to respond.
“The house has received pretty substantial damage,” said district spokesperson Capt. Randy Hunter, “and we’re in the early stages of trying to figure out the cause and origin of it.”
The district responded to the call around 2:45 p.m. at 76 Goethe Rd., Hunter said. As of 4:10 p.m., the district had nearly cleared the scene.
No was injured.
