Truck burns at Beaufort McDonald’s
No one was hurt after a truck caught fire in Beaufort on Friday.
Beaufort-Port Royal Fire Department and Burton Fire District responded to McDonald’s on Boundary Street and found a truck’s engine compartment and cab ablaze, Beaufort-Port Royal Chief Reece Bertholf said. The flames were extinguished in minutes, he said.
No injuries were reported. Traffic was affected for a short time.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, Bertholf said.
