Veterans Day event planned for Hilton Head Island

The Military Coalition of Hilton Head will host a Veterans Day event Nov. 11 on Hilton Head Island.

The program will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial at Shelter Cove Community Park, 39 Shelter Cove Lane.

Retired Gen. Jessica Garfola Wright will be the keynote speaker. She is is the former Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness at the U.S. Defense Department.

The Hilton Head Choral Society also will perform.
