Lee Jean to perform at Coligny Plaza

Bluffton native Lee Jean Jr. will be performing on Hilton Head Island for his hometown this weekend for the first time since his impressive “American Idol” run.

Lee Jean will perform at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at Coligny Plaza, along with Native.

Jean returned home this weekend after his “Idol” dreams came to a close last Thursday night when he didn’t muster up enough votes to make the show’s Top 6. The Bluffton High School junior had a skyrocketing run on the show since early January, making it into the Top 8 of the final season of “American Idol.”

Admission is free, according to the Coligny Plaza Facebook page, and donations to help pay for the family’s travel to the “American Idol” finale will be accepted.
