Nearly 30 years later and we’re still talking about Beaufort County’s white Christmas

Mere months after Hurricane Hugo slammed into the Lowcountry, Santa brought us something special for Christmas: snow.

We’ve had snow since, on the rare occasion. But this stands as our only white Christmas on record. And if you were here, you remember it well.
