Mindy's Outtakes: Tickets available for Beaufort International Film Festival; volunteers needed

Get the popcorn ready. Tickets to the 10th annual Beaufort International Film Festival are now available.

The festival kicks off Feb. 10 and runs through Feb 14.

Named one of the top 25 "Coolest Film Festivals in the World 2013" by MovieMaker Magazine, the festival features awards in a range of areas from features to documentaries to short film and screenplays.

The complete list of finalists was released in December and included filmmakers and industry professionals as close as Beaufort and as far away as Taiwan, according to a news release.

All screenings and awards will take place at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts.

Last year, the festival attracted 10,000 people who attended some part of the four-day event.
