Island Rec Center to conduct soccer evaluations Saturday

The Hilton Head Island Recreation Center will conduct soccer evaluations for new players Saturday morning at Chaplin Park, starting a 9 a.m.

Evaluations, for players age 6-15, are required only for those who have not participated in a Rec Soccer League program in the past 12 months. They will be used for placement on league rosters.

Soccer registration runs through Monday, with practices to begin Sept. 3. Registration is $87 per player, which includes a uniform, ball and team pictures. Sign up at IslandRecCenter.org or call 843-681-7273 with questions.
