From the big screen to the bars: Where to watch Mayweather vs. McGregor in Beaufort County

It’s being called ‘The Money Fight.’ And the name fits.

Not just because undefeated five-division boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather and outspoken UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor can draw a crowd, but because of the pricetag attached to their long-awaited showdown on Saturday, Aug. 26.

Want to see it at home on pay-per-view? That’ll be $89.95.

Want high-def? Add $10 more.

(Sounds expensive? It’s nothing compared to the $10,000 it could cost you to see it in person.)

But maybe you don’t want to watch it at home. How does dinner and a couple drinks sound? Pretty good, right? But we’ve learned of only a handful of Beaufort County spots that plan to show the fight.
