Ospreys pummel Orangeburg

The American Legion Beaufort Ospreys pounded 16 hits in a 13-7 victory over Orangeburg on Thursday.

Hartley Smith, Rome Wallace and Brice Adkins led the assault with three hits apiece. Griffin Yeager and Patrick Talbert each added two base knocks.

Dallas Higuet drove in a team-high four runs. Adkins and Talbert chipped in three and two RBIs, respectively.

The Ospreys will play at Walterboro on Monday.
