For the second time this season, friends and family of Skyler Korinek, a former Hilton Head Island High School football player, can see him play on television.

Korinek's new school, IMG Academy (6-1) of Bradenton, Fla., will face New Jersey's Paramus Catholic (3-3) at 7 p.m. Friday. The game is being televised by ESPN2.

The senior long snapper transferred from Hilton Head to IMG Academy, ranked No. 4 nationally and No. 1 in the state of Florida by MaxPreps, in May.

Korinek said at the time of the transfer he couldn't pass up the opportunity.

"The experience that I have had at IMG has been unbelievable," Korinek said. "From the facilities, to the coaches, to even the school here, it has all been an amazing experience. IMG is a lot different than Hilton Head High.

"It is really hard to compare the two because IMG is like a college. You are living on your own on campus without your childhood friends and family to direct you."

Korinek said he stays in touch with Hayden Reily, a senior offensive lineman for the Seahawks who keeps him updated on how the team is doing.

"I have been keeping track of Hilton Head's undefeated run this year," Korinek said, "and I and wish them the best as they continue their season. ... I will always remember my time at Hilton Head."
