Here’s which Hilton Head-area restaurants & facilities are open and closed Sunday

In anticipation of extreme cold and snow this weekend, some Hilton Head-area offices and businesses are closing temporarily.

Record-breaking cold is expected this weekend, with Sunday morning temperatures as low as 19 degrees. Snow is expected to accumulate to 1-2 inches between Saturday afternoon and early Sunday, according to the National Weather Service Charleston.

Here’s a list of what is open and closed this weekend. Please check back as the list will be updated.

  • The Lowcountry Ferry will monitor conditions and try to continue service until the weather prevents it from doing so. Riders should anticipate schedule changes.
  • Hilton Head Island Airport is open and operating, but American Airlines has canceled flights because of conditions elsewhere. Private aviation is operating as usual, Beaufort County airports director Jon Rembold said.
  • Nunzio Restaurant + Bar is open for dinner Saturday night. Located at 18 New Orleans Road, Hilton Head.
  • Frosty Frog Cafe is open normal hours. Located at 1 N. Forest Beach Drive Suite 18, Hilton Head.
  • Local Pie locations in Hilton Head and Bluffton close at 7 p.m. Saturday and will be closed all day Sunday, Feb. 1. Located at 15 State Of Mind St. in Bluffton and 55 New Orleans Road, Unit 106 in Hilton Head.
  • Chophouse 119 is open Saturday night. Located at 28 Shelter Cove Lane, Suite 119 in Hilton Head.
  • Piggly Wiggly is open Sunday on Hilton Head Island at 1 N. Forest Beach Drive.
  • Sweet Al’s is open on Sunday at 1 N. Forest Beach Drive in Hilton Head.
