Search for missing 22-year-old Midlands woman last seen leaving hospital, police say
A search is underway for a woman last seen leaving a Midlands hospital, the Sumter Police Department said.
Police are asking for the community’s help in locating Olivia Phillips, who was reported missing Sunday.
The 22-year-old Sumter woman was last seen Saturday, leaving Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, police said in a news release.
There is concern for her safety, according to the release.
Police described Phillips as a 5-foot-9, 190-pound woman with blond hair and blue eyes.
In an unrelated case, police are searching for a missing Sumter man.
Willie Bernard Sims Sr., has not been seen since Feb. 27, according to the release.
A family member saw the 61-year-old on Charles Street, about 3-4 miles from his Sumter home, police said.
Police said Sims is a 5-7, 197-pound man who is mostly bald with brown eyes.
Like Phillips’ case, police said they are concerned about Sims’ well being.
Anyone with information on either missing person is asked to call 803-436-2700, or 911.
