25-year-old woman killed in 3-car collision outside Ridgeland, officials say

A Ridgeland woman died Friday night in a three-car collision on a Jasper County highway.

Keeley Kai Hall, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident around 8:40 p.m. Friday, according to the Jasper County Coroner’s Office.

The crash happened on Lowcountry Drive (S.C. 462). Hall was driving north in a 2024 Ford F-150 while a 2016 Jeep Compass and 2024 Jeep Cherokee traveled south, Sgt. Tyler Tidwell of the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

“All vehicles then collided” near the highway’s intersection with Snake Road, according to the SCHP press release.

All other occupants inside the vehicles were taken to the hospital with injuries, Tidwell said. The exact number of people hospitalized was unclear.

The posted speed limit is 55 mph on S.C. 462, a winding road with no streetlight coverage. It runs from Okatie Highway to Interstate 95 in the Coosawhatchie area.

The SCHP is investigating the fatal collision.
