Two wanted in Ridgeland murder
A man and woman from Pineland are wanted in connection with the April 30 murder of a Ridgeland man.
Eric Malik Darien Jr., 20, and Aneisha Shaire Young, 21, are wanted on the murder charge after 23-year-old Devonte Quentin Freeman was shot to death on Ridgeland’s East Main Street early that morning, according to a Ridgeland Police Department news release.
Police were called to the area of East Main and Adams streets around 12:50 a.m. and found Freeman unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
