Fahey: Howard Family Dental to open Dec. 7 in Beaufort

A new dentistry office is opening next week in Beaufort.

Howard Family Dental, with offices in South Carolina and Georgia, is opening Dec. 7 at 35 Robert Smalls Parkway, Suite 103, according to a news release.

Dr. Mark Squicquero will be seeing patients at the Beaufort Howard Family Dental. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Squicquero has training in orthodontics, impacts, cosmetic and restortative techniques, TMJ therapy, periodontics and periodontal surgery, and endodontics.

He earned degrees in biology and English at Youngstown State University and got his doctorate at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Previously, Squicquero taught embryology, anatomy and physiology at Youngstown State University.

Howard Family Dental services include crowns, bridges, periodontal, cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening, Invisalign and sleep apnea.

To celebrate the opening, the office is offering free exams and X-rays for new patients during December.
