Lady’s Island Wal-Mart opens Wednesday. Here is when you can get in the door

Residents of northern Beaufort County’s sea islands now have another place to shop.

The county’s newest Wal-Mart will open Wednesday at 265 Sea Island Parkway. Wal-mart staff and Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling will offer remarks during a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 7:30 a.m. until 8 a.m.

The store will open to shoppers immediately following the ceremony.

Wal-Mart advertised 200 full-time and part-time jobs in March. Work on the 26-acre site began in early 2016.
