Get your quarters ready, Beaufort — Aldi is finally here.

The popular grocer opens its doors next week on Oct. 30 at 361 Robert Smalls Parkway, capping off a two-year wait for local shoppers eager for its low prices and simple shopping style.

The store’s debut marks the end of a long wait that began when plans were first announced in early 2022. Following years of design revisions and approvals, Aldi now takes its place in Beaufort Station, a major new shopping center that’s reshaping one of the city’s busiest corridors along Parris island Gateway and Robert Smalls Parkway.

When can shoppers visit?

Now that the shelves are stocked, a soft opening will take place on Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing customers to visit the store before its official launch.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Oct. 30 at 8:45 a.m. Afterward, customers will be able to officially start shopping and explore the new 21,000-square-foot store.

The Beaufort Aldi will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The store will offer a range of grocery and household staples, including dairy, produce, meats, bakery items, pet and baby supplies, and seasonal products — all with Aldi’s signature low prices.

Opening day deals

Beyond unlocking the doors, Aldi has lined up a few opening-day perks for its shoppers on Oct. 30:

  • The first 100 customers will receive a Golden Ticket Aldi gift card that could be worth up to $100.
  • The first 100 customers will also receive a bag of Aldi goodies in a free tote bag.
  • A limited number of free shopping totes will also be distributed throughout the day.
  • Shoppers can enter for a chance to win a $500 Aldi Gift Card by scanning a code inside the store between Oct. 30 and Nov. 2.
