As fall officially rolls in on Sept. 22, the time-tested pumpkin spice debate is heating up once again.

Whether you love it, avoid it, or reluctantly give in, there’s no escaping the cinnamon-clove aroma wafting from coffee shops this time of year.

While for some, it may seem odd to sip a pumpkin-themed beverage with temperatures still hovering in the 80s, these drinks are no doubt a fan-favorite during the autumn months — no matter where you live.

From iced to hot, classic to creative, these fall-flavored drinks are making their annual comeback. If you’re still on the hunt for your pumpkin-flavored pick-me-up, we’ve rounded up a few local spots whipping up a seasonal fix.

Here’s a sampling of some local coffee shops with pumpkin spice beverage offerings this fall and the average cost at each location, not including tax.

Note: We’ll continue to add to the list as more shops announce their seasonal menus, or you can share your go-to spot for fall beverages by emailing amiller@islandpacket.com.
