Deciding where to eat dinner or just wondering what the can’t-miss dining spots are on Hilton Head?

Yelp has released its August list of the top 100 restaurants in South Carolina and luckily for those in the Lowcountry, 15 local spots made the list.

Here’s a roundup of the top 15 restaurants on Hilton Head, according to Yelp reviews, and where you can find them.

The Jazz Corner

Since 1999, The Jazz Corner has been blending music and fine dining. Yelpers enjoy their cocktail selection, dessert menu and describe the venue as a “hidden gem.

Java Burrito Company

Known for a unique blend of coffee and Mexican, Java Burrito combines traditional Tex-Mex dishes like burrito bowls, along with breakfast bites and coffee items. Yelpers note the fresh and high-quality food and beverages and the fast-casual dining atmosphere.

Stu’s Surfside Subs

Located within Coligny Plaza, this sandwich shop offers a casual dining experience right near the beach. Fan favorite menu options include the cheesesteak, roast beef and turkey bacon options. Yelpers say that Stu’s has “the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life.”

Fiesta Fresh Mexican Grill

Fiesta Fresh is another spot serving Mexican food, known for their options like chicken tacos, steak quesadillas and their sauces. Yelpers say that they enjoy the authentic Mexican options and the casual dining feel, some even making multiple trips during their vacations.

Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana

Noted for their Italian cuisine, Michael Anthony’s has long been a hot spot for locals and visitors alike. Ideal for a nice evening out with or date nights, Yelpers say that they enjoy the unique twist on the dishes, ambiance and variety of menu options – perfect for even the pickiest of eaters.

Nunzio Restaurant + Bar

Another popular spot for Italian-inspired dining is Nunzio Restaurant + Bar. Known for their chicken parmigiana, ravioli and salad dishes. Yelpers note that the space offers an upscale dining experience and they enjoy the cocktails and pasta options.

Pomodori

A hidden gem beloved by locals, Bullies BBQ is a can’t-miss spot for BBQ dishes and an old-school, counter-service style restaurant. Yelpers enjoy the ribs, pulled pork and brisket options.

The Sandbar Beach Eats

Located near Coligny, Yelpers say The Sandbar is the “best restaurant near the beach!” Known for their menu items like fish tacos, crab cake sandwiches, bacon-wrapped scallops and other popular seafood options, reviewers say that this dining location provides the ideal beach vibe.

Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks

Hudson’s Seafood House is a top spot for seafood cuisine and Lowcountry waterfront views. Situated on the Port Royal Sound, Yelpers say they enjoyed the shrimp and oyster options.

The Quarterdeck

Located in Sea Pines, The Quarterdeck is another hit location for seafood and waterfront dining. Yelpers enjoyed menu items like the fried gator bites, crab sandwich and huspuppies.

The Sea Shack

Last, but not least, on the list of top restaurants is Fishcamp on Broad Creek. Also offering waterside views and a seafood-filled menu, Yelpers recommend the fried shrimp, ahi tuna poke bowl and their fresh catch of the day.
