2 SC retailers open stores at Compass Commons in Bluffton. Here are the details
Local businesses, Pet Wants and STMT Boutique, officially opened their doors this week in Bluffton’s latest development, Compass Commons at New Riverside Village.
Located right off the roundabout from S.C. 170, New Riverside Road and S.C. 46, this new development is bringing space for a handful of locally rooted businesses.
Compass Commons is overseen by The Richardson Group and spans four buildings that cover over 16,000 square feet.
Here’s what to know about these two new neighboring businesses with Lowcountry roots that officially opened their doors on May 31:
Pet Wants
Pet Wants offers fresh, small-batch pet food and wellness products that are tailored to benefit your pet’s health.
This location in New Riverside Village is the second location for the business. They opened their first location in the Tanger Outlets in 2022.
Owned by Max Zugan, Pet Wants offers food, toys and other items for dogs and cats that are fresh and nutritious to keep your furry friend healthy.
They also offer other items like treats, chews, hats and harnesses. If you can’t make it in-store, you can order items online for delivery. To view all of their products, click here to visit their website.
You can visit their New Riverside location Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
Pet Wants in New Riverside Village is located at 303 Parkside Commons, Suite 101, in Bluffton.
STMT Boutique
STMT Boutique is a contemporary women’s fashion store that features colorful and seasonal items.
From shoes, hats, dresses, sets, sunglasses and more, STMT Boutique offers a curated selection of women’s fashion that is designed for elegance and everyday wearability.
Founded by Jennifer Miotto, STMT Boutique first opened in the Tanger Outlets in December 2024. This location in New Riverside is now their permanent location, and their original space in the Tanger Outlets is now closed.
With their new storefront in Compass Commons, Miotto strives to bring fresh and fashion-forward pieces to the Bluffton area.

STMT Boutique is located at 303 Parkside Commons, Suite 102, in Bluffton. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are closed on Mondays.
