Hampton Hall in Bluffton is renovating its clubhouse. Here’s what they’re adding
Bluffton’s Hampton Hall Club is renovating and expanding its main clubhouse, adding just under 2,000 square feet of space for dining, social and arrival experiences.
The clubhouse at the center of the 1,100-acre community will undergo $6.6 million in renovations and expansions starting this year, the first step in what the club said is a comprehensive master plan. Hampton Hall has tapped private club architectural firm Chambers to design the space; Shoreline Construction will take care of the building for this phase.
Renovations will focus on “underutilized” areas of the existing clubhouse, Hampton Hall said in a press release. New spaces will include a new porte cochere — or covered grand entrance — as well as expanded casual dining areas, a reimagined, dinner-focused social hub, a renovated kitchen and a “significantly larger” bar aimed to suit the club’s “active and highly social membership.”
A new employee break room and expanded storage areas are also in the works, the press release said.
