Fahey: Dough Punchers bakery in Bluffton now closed
After only a few months of operation, a bakery in Bluffton has shut its doors.
Dough Punchers, formerly at 1536 Fording Island Road, Suite 104, in Bridge Center, opened this summer. Its menu centered around artisan breads, but also included pastries and cakes.
Attempts to contact the owner, Nick Daugherty, were unsuccessful.
Another Bridge Center tenant, Pino Gelato, shuttered in August after owner Attila Malaczko said he didn't have enough customers.
