Tanger Outlets entry signs bare for holiday shopping. Here’s why, what we know
As the holiday shopping season ramps up, shoppers at the Tanger Outlets Hilton Head may have noticed a bare look around the centers lately.
Located right off of U.S. 278, many of the familiar signs have been temporarily removed at both Tanger 1 and Tanger 2 Outlet centers as part of a full signage refresh now underway.
While the empty facades may appear confusing to visitors, Tanger officials say the change is only temporary – and for a good reason. The outlets are receiving new signage to replace older designs that have become dated over time.
Jenny Alberson, marketing director for Tanger Outlets Hilton Head said that the removals are just for updates and that a “refreshed” look will be ready soon.
The change is expected to be complete in the next few weeks.
In the meantime, to ensure your visit to the Tanger Outlets goes smoothly, guests can use the online maps available here.
Shoppers can expect minimal disruption during the transition, and all stores remain open throughout the update.
