Parker’s Kitchen opens convenience store with a Hilton Head vibe on island’s north end

Parker’s Kitchen has opened at Sea Turtle Marketplace on Hilton Head Island.

The new location at U.S. 278 and Mathews Drive is the second Parker’s on the island and the company’s 71st overall.

In addition to eight gas pumps, Parker’s Kitchen includes a convenience store and prepared food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is made fresh on site and includes biscuits, chicken tender sandwiches, mac and cheese, salads and an assortment of beverages, among the options.

“Our new location at Sea Turtle Marketplace may be the most attractive store we’ve ever built over the past 46 years,” said Parker’s founder and CEO Greg Parker in a news release. He explained that the architecture and materials used were specific to Hilton Head.

Parker’s is based in Savannah and has locations in Georgia and South Carolina.

The Hilton Head location is the north end’s first gas station that eastbound traffic will be able to turn right into and out of without crossing westbound traffic.

A Circle K gas station opened just across the street at 71 Mathews Drive in late June.

Parker’s gas station is open 24 hours, and the kitchen is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and with a limited menu on Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
