Described as a little ‘Dave and Buster’s,’ this game room is now open on Hilton Head

Porcella’s, a more than 6,000-foot family game room, is now open on Hilton Head Island.

There is plenty to keep visitors busy at the new business, including 10 pool tables, air hockey, foosball, darts, shuffle board, corn-hole, virtual reality gear, along with Playstation and Xbox equipment.

“It is kind of a pint-sized Dave and Buster’s,” co-owner Greg Miller said in December when the business’ was first announced.

Beer and wine are served on site and local restaurants, such as Cheap Seats, have partnered with the business to deliver food there.

Porcella’s also has hired an events manager for booking parties and events.

For those pool enthusiasts, Mike Massey — a nationally and internationally known pocket-billiards player — will be holding demonstrations, challenges and free lessons during the business’ grand-opening March 10 and 11.

The business is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 11 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
