Wayback Burgers pushes back Bluffton opening date

Wayback Burgers had planned a July 24 opening but due to electrical issues will now open Aug. 8, officials with the company said Friday.

The new Bluffton location will be inside the recently opened Walmart at the Bluffton Gateway Shopping Center.

A full menu will remain inside the condensed restaurant, Patrick Conlin, Wayback Burgers spokesman previously said. He said breakfast and snack items also will be added to the menu.

The restaurant has several locations inside of Walmart stores throughout the country.

A Hilton Head Island Wayback Burgers location was opened at 32 Shelter Cove Lane in 2015 and a Beaufort location was opened at 2005 Boundary St. last year.
