Hobby Lobby to celebrate opening with refreshments for public
Hobby Lobby is set to open its doors in Bluffton on Aug. 7 with a ribbon-cutting celebration.
The Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce will host the event, which will start at 9 a.m. and include refreshments.
The 55,000-square-foot building joins other stores such as PGA Tour Superstore and Sleep Number mattress store in the new shopping center at U.S. 278 and Burnt Church Road.
The company has said it expects to create 35 to 50 jobs at the Bluffton location. It says full-time employees will be paid $15.70 per hour and part-time $10.45 per hour.
