You can still treat yourself after a hard day on the beach at this old gelato spot on Hilton Head

Angelato is the newest gelato option on Hilton Head Island, and it’s in the previous location of Pino Gelato.

Pino Gelato moved its headquarters from the Village of Wexford location to Beaufort last month.

Mikey Blount said Thursday Angelato is still serving up homemade gelato though. Customers are able to choose from up to 24 flavors of the cold dessert. Flavors include cookies and cream and coconut custard.

The store also sells homemade fudge, Blount said.

Blount took over as licensee of the Hilton Head Pino Gelato in April but, after a few months, he and the company parted ways, he said. He has now started his own brand under the Angelato name, he said.

The store is open from 1 to 10 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and 2 to 10 p.m. Sundays.

It is at 1000 William Hilton Parkway.
