Meteorologist and TV personality Al Roker is making his way through South Carolina today.

The anchor for NBC’s Today can be seen broadcasting live from Hilton Head Island to mark the end of the network’s Start TODAY February walking challenge finish line.

This morning, Family Style with AL Roker took viewers to several acclaimed restaurants throughout South Carolina.

Start TODAY is designated to help individuals become “a healthier, happier and better you,” according to NBC. It offers online support through workouts, meal plans, self-care help, monthly challenges, a newsletter and Facebook group and more.

The event was sponsored by Discover South Carolina, Hilton Head Health and Visit Greenville SC.

Two years ago, 3rd Hour of Today co-anchors Al Roker, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones broadcast live for an event from the beach on Hilton Head Island’s south end in front of a Sea Pines community Vrbo home.
