‘Dive-in Movies’ combines pool fun with movies

If you like movies and lounging poolside, you’re in luck.

The Island Recreation Association will host “Dive-in Movies” — in which participants take in a swim while watching a movie. How ingenious is that?

The all-new Hilton Head summertime event starts April 29 at dusk at the center’s pool, at 20 Wilborn Road, and includes movie-themed games and activities before the film begins.

The lineup includes:

▪ April 29 — Surfs up

▪ May 20 — Finding Nemo

▪ June 24 — Pirates of Caribbean

▪ July 22 — Elf

▪ August 26 — Teen Beach Movie

▪ September 23 — Jaws

▪ October 21 — Goonies

Tickets, sold only at the door, are $6 with discounts for children and seniors.
