Classic music lovers take note.

The Duke Symphony Orchestra will be in town for a one-night performance at 7 p.m. Saturday April 9, at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts.

The performance, which will feature more than 60 Duke students performing works of well-known and emerging classical composers, is part of a fundraising event for Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s Healing Arts Program and the Keyserling Cancer Center.

A popular annual event, the orchestra also will collaborate with the university’s chorus for the performance.

Tickets are $35; $40 at the door. Patron tickets, which include premium seating and an invitation to the conductor’s reception after the concert, are also available for $75.

The center for the arts is at 805 Carteret Street, Beaufort.
