Lucas: Award-winning writer Melissa Fay Greene to give talk on Hilton Head
An award-winning nonfiction writer and author of five books will be on hand to discuss her work during two upcoming appearances on Hilton Head Island.
Melissa Fay Greene appear for two sessions on April 14, at the Congregation Beth Yam, 4501 Meeting Street, Hilton Head.
A native of Macon, Ga., Greene has won numerous awards for her work including two National Book Award nominations, a National Book Critics Circle Award nomination, the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award and several others.
A midday session is at 12:30 p.m. and an evening session is at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch for the afternoon session.
Both events are free.
